“This Is Why,” Paramore’s first new song since 2017, has now been out in the world for a little over 3 months, and music critics and outlets have been eating it up like greedy little piggies. I am finally beating the only-Paramore-enjoyer-in-the-world allegations, thank Christ!

The REAL January 6th catastrophe!!! I remember being SO shook (negative connotation) by this particular outfit. I was in my “Hayley’s selling out :/” era, and I thought this dress was awful. Tbh, in retrospect, not THAT bad.

Not Paramore-related, but I did get a little fire lit under my ass this week when I saw that some guy is coming out with a book about pop punk in the mid-2000s. Thankfully, it’s literally about primarily the boy bands. Like, it’s in the title. So he didn’t beat me to The Paramore Book. But like, god damn! I need to pitch this book YESTERDAY!!!! (Mine’s gonna be more like, informal biography than oral history, so not entirely the same thing… But still!) (Also this seems fun and I definitely want to read it) (I mean…….this guy is now my enemy and I’ll fight him to the death)
Also, if you made it this far, here’s a secret thing that I have to be extremely vague about but was huge news for ol’ KT: I DM’d a person about my book - a DM I have been scheming to send for 6 months - and got a response (wow! getting a response at all is cool and positive!) and was encouraged to do a thing (even cooler!). Not news in any sort of concrete sense, but it was a big step for me and I feel good and brave and emboldened to take next steps.
