Paste's review of "This Is Why" was accidentally published today
Read it if you want. Or don't. Idk!!!
Today, Paste accidentally leaked their in-depth review of Paramore’s upcoming album This Is Why. It got taken down pretty quickly, but someone saved it and posted it to Reddit.
I’m not going to read it because that makes me feel… weird??? I won’t judge you if you read it but I am not going to, because that feels anti-climactic to me.
I will be in Nashville with my sister on the day the album comes out, and will be attending Paramore’s album release show at the Grand Ole Opry that evening, so I’m envisioning driving around the Nashville area with her listening to the album in our rental car. Which sounds like the ideal way to take in the new album. And I think I want to form my own thoughts about it before I read what any publications have to say.
All that to say, I won’t be reading the leaked review. But if you’re the kind of person for whom that will enhance your album-enjoying experience, and you just wanna get as much information as soon as possible, then I’d say Google something along the lines of, “Reddit Paste Magazine prematurely posted a review for 'This Is Why', they deleted it but I saved it!”
There, I’ve done my journalistic duty of keeping you informed on the band that this newsletter is about. Go forth and do as you see fit; no judgment here.
Talk soon,
Katie from Paramore*
*Hayley had/has “Hayley from Paramore” as her name on social media so a lot of fan accounts (I guess now including me) do it too
How many days til This Is Why comes out? I’m glad you asked:
