A roundup to catch you up on funny/fun/important shit that Paramore and their fans have been up to.

Howdy, Paramore fans! It’s been a month and a half since the band released their sixth studio album, This Is Why, and they’ve been bouncing around on tour ever since. Here’s what’s up with Paramore these past few weeks:

South America Tour

South America—specifically, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia—got the first leg of the band’s This Is Why official tour. They rolled out all the fan favorites, including “All I Wanted” and longtime setlist exile “The Only Exception.”

Paramore x Taylor Swift

On March 18 and 19, Paramore opened for the first two shows of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in Arizona. Listen, those who know me IRL know I’m not exactly a ““Swiftie”” but they seemed like very fun shows, and I wish all my Swiftie friends and allies last-minute Eras tickets for a reasonable resale price.

Also….It feels too good to be true, but………Hayley’s already casually dropping mentions of (at least the intention for) new music…!

Love Rising Benefit Show

Hayley performed a few songs last week at Nashville’s Love Rising concert, a benefit event for several organizations on the heels of some recent troubling anti-LGBT Tennessee legislation. Her friend Becca Mancari performed alongside her as she played one of my personal favorites of her solo songs, “Inordinary,” for its live debut, as well as a cover of Deana Carter’s “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” (lol). Her best friend, business partner, and stylist Brian O’Connor joined her on stage in drag—rare aesthetic!!!!

Taylor played golf

Last, but certainly not least, Taylor played some golf and tweeted about it. He literally tweets like, once every three years, so the fact that he chose this to tweet about must… mean something… Not sure what yet, though. Anyway, seems like he’s really bad at golf. All things considered, go off, king!!!

I think this is the last one of these I send before the rEbRaNd! I’m going back to the name Good and Good For You, which is a blog name I’ve used off and on over the years. But rest assured, you’ll still get all the best lil Paramore tidbits. Thanks for coming along for the ride!
