A weekly roundup to catch you up on funny/fun/important shit that Paramore and their fans have been up to.

• Paramore are doing another BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge!! Deets below. In case you’re unfamiliar, the thing Live Lounge is known for is the covers. For their last Live Lounge appearance in 2018, Paramore covered Drake’s “Passionfruit.” Before that, Hayley did “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa for her Live Lounge during her solo era. (Less famous, but my personal fav, is the band’s Live Lounge cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” from 2009.)

  
  What do we think they’re gonna cover for this one??? I’ve seen fans speculating a SZA song, which would certainly be rad.

• Since “Thick Skull” is my favorite track from “This Is Why,” and I make the rules around here, I am going to show some favoritism and link a couple cool things I saw about it this last week:

Also, a bit of business: nothing’s set in stone, but I’m highly considering rebranding this Substack soon. I think I want to broaden the scope (ewwww sorry for the tech startup speak, I have corporate brain rot and can’t think of a better way to say that) and talk about other music. Maybe. I’m undecided. Hopefully those of you who are in it for the Paramore will be cool with that. In any case I’d still want to do a monthly Paramore roundup for the heads.
